our style, philosophy, strategy

#1. Create a plan &
set initial goals

After your initial consultation and assessing all the factors, we’ll come up with a strategic plan for how to best achieve your overarching goals. We will prioritize different needs (nutritional needs, reducing stress at the table, mealtime behaviour, etc.) and set you up with some initial goals right off the bat to get you going for the week. You will get a written summary of your child’s assessment and plan as well.

#2. Educate & troubleshoot to keep you on track

Follow up sessions will be used to assess how you did with your assigned goals and answer any questions. We’ll troubleshoot any issues, and then provide further education to build on your knowledge and skills. We work in a step-by-step manner – laying the foundations for success first – and once that’s acheived – can then move into teaching all the little tips & tricks that will work only after the foundations are laid.

#3. Set new goals, progress
& see results!

As you gain progress and momentum, you will move onto new goals, expand in your knowledge and confidence in feeding, and you will be seeing lots of progress! With consistency in goal application and lots of hand-holding and accountability from us, you will see more and more results with each session.

frequently asked questions

Registered Dietitians are covered under most health insurance plans in Canada. Most group insurance plans including Manulife, Blue Cross, Sunlife, GreatWest Life, Green Shield and more.

Tip: Most health insurance and extended healthcare benefits plans follow the calendar year schedule, meaning they begin on January 1st and end on December 31st, of the given year. Packages run from $500 – $1500+ depending on the depth of help required. Most packages for babies on solids and toddler with picky eating can be completed in 4-6 sessions and results are seen in as little as two weeks.

We’ve helped hundreds of families in person (and thousands worldwide) to solve their child’s worst feeding issues. This is a completely thorough solution and our dietitians will guide you the entire way to ensure you see results.

We will find an alternate product/solution that works for you if one-on-one counselling isn’t an option right now.

We have the option for Ask-Me-Anything sessions which are for you if you’ve got a few questions after finishing one of our courses, or about starting solids and/or feeding picky toddlers in general, and need some quick, one-time guidance. You’d love to get access to one of our detitian’s knowledge, gain some clarity, and feel relief around these burning questions. These sessions are 30 min long and are only $50 USD.
